Hailed as the next generation of estate agents, a few years ago we helped Nicol & Co refresh their brand with a clean modern logo, bespoke illustration style and fresh colour palette that added sophistication and contrast.
We built a stunning website with unparalleled UX and cutting edge integrations at the time. The website became renowned in the property industry - it was striking, engaging, high converting and agile and helped underpin business growth as Nicol & Co expanded to become a leading Worcestershire agent with three branches.
The brief
Standing still is not an option for Matt and his team, so in 2023, it was time to change things up. A website to uphold Nicol & Co’s reputation as pioneers. A website that would deliver unmatched speeds and editing functionality using the most advanced technology. A website that would offer an immersive experience with a focus on animations and video integrations.
Our approach
We rose to the challenge and delivered one of the most advanced websites in the property sector, built using our latest release of our award-winning SignaturePlus website solution. Taking design inspiration from outside the property sector, we created a bespoke website experience like no other, carefully tailored for the very best estate agents. Agents with a vision to transform, perfect and innovate. Built in quest of perfection, SignaturePlus is a synchronisation of superior technology and beautiful design. A website customers will engage with and the team will embrace. And a website that drives income.
Getting animated
We’ve used integrated videos on key pages to appease today’s consumers who prefer watching to reading. On-page typographic animations have been created by our design team in an eye-catching style and tempo to highlight pivotal selling points on each key landing page including homepage, sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants.
Video testimonials by customers are displayed on the site in a scrollable process module to make it easier for users to watch and engage with the content. We’ve made sure videos can be added to any module across the site without negatively impacting site speed. Exactly what’s needed.

Dynamic design solution
The new website has a fresh, new look to keep Nicol & Co on the move, never static. We’ve given sections on the pages room to breathe with a clean user interface, lots of white space and large imagery for impact.
Using a recognised photographer, we organised a photoshoot to capture the people and the offices at Nicol & Co in the very best light. We’ve applied well selected soft imagery giving a natural, yet aspirational look and feel throughout the site.
The on-page animations bring the site to life, emphasising and highlighting aspect of a service or the team.
