Seymours is a prestigious and highly respected estate agency with operations across Surrey and the South East. Known for its successful Seymours Partner model and local expertise since 1992, they offer services for property sales, lettings, land, new homes and prestigious properties in over 20 Home Counties locations. With more medals than most, Seymours was crowned overall Best UK Lettings Agent at the EA Masters in 2024, as well as rated Exceptional in the Best Estate Agent Guide for Sales.

To support their expansive reach and services, Seymours sought a digital transformation that would unify their presence and elevate their brand.

The brief

The mission was to create a single, advanced website that would consolidate all Seymours’ websites, brands, and services under one cohesive digital platform. Key objectives included:

Unified digital presence: Seamlessly merge all Seymours’ sites into one, ensuring streamlined user journeys and simpler management for the Seymours team.

Exceptional speed: Achieve industry-leading load times for both optimal user experience and SEO performance.

Flexible management: Build a site that empowers Seymours’ team with easy-to-use tools for updating content and managing design.

SEO-optimised framework: Design with SEO in mind, making the site search-engine friendly to capture and convert leads.

Feature-rich design: Integrate sophisticated, user-focused features to keep visitors engaged and informed.

Challenges we faced

Bringing this ambitious project to life involved a range of complex challenges. Merging multiple Seymours sites into one central platform required a detailed, well-thought-out strategy that considered the unique requirements of each Seymours branch and the different audiences they serve. Every detail, from SEO migrations to user journey mapping, needed precise coordination to avoid any loss of functionality or authority.

Speed was also a major consideration. Seymours’ new site needed to achieve lightning-fast load times across all pages. This involved a multi-server setup, innovative caching, and advanced technology such as Gatsby and Cloudflare to ensure swift response times and a seamless experience for visitors.

Further, the need for flexible, user-friendly content management required a solution that enabled Seymours’ team to personalise and adapt pages easily. With so many brands and branches under one roof, this was crucial in allowing each location and service to stand out while maintaining Seymours’ overarching brand identity.

Our approach

To meet these challenges, we employed a strategic approach that combined cutting-edge technology, thoughtful design and a collaborative approach to the project. Our successful partnership with Seymours’ skilled team, led by Ian Marlow, along with our Senior Project Manager Paula Greenwood and Digital Director Eddy Bennett, was key to navigating the ambitious brief. Together, we worked through complex challenges and fine-tuned every element, integrating a wide array of third-party plugins and prop-tech tools. The result is a dynamic, user-focused website that enhances Seymours' brand and seamlessly caters to all aspects of their multifaceted business.

Strategic consolidation
Through strategic consolidation, we merged multiple Seymours websites into a single platform. From the beginning, we mapped out a clean, logical sitemap and user journey, unifying Seymours' online presence while strengthening their domain authority. This consolidation created a robust, easily managed digital platform that simplified content updates and optimised SEO performance.
Flexible content management
For flexible content management, we leveraged WordPress’s Gutenberg editor. This user-friendly, block-based editor enables Seymours’ team to update content dynamically with drag-and-drop ease. Each branch can maintain unique design elements, enhancing both flexibility and independence for team members.
Dynamic branding
To support dynamic branding, we implemented features that allow brand-specific colours, typography, and layouts. This system empowers Seymours to reflect their diverse offerings, including a high-end look for Prestige Homes, across different areas of the site, without sacrificing coherence.
Tailored user experience
By incorporating personalised user journeys, we transformed how visitors interact with the site. A custom feature presents users with an initial question—whether they are a buyer, seller, landlord, or tenant—and tailors content to fit their needs. This approach enhances user experience by delivering relevant calls to action, encouraging engagement, and boosting lead conversions.
Interactive property search
We also created an interactive property search feature that allows users to draw directly on the map, selecting areas to refine their property searches. This tailored experience streamlines the search process, making it easy for users to find precisely what they’re looking for.

The interactive map search delivers a personalised search experience. Users can refine results by drawing their preferred area on the map, helping them locate properties within specific locations. This feature adds a layer of user control that increases satisfaction and engagement.
Live social media feed
A live social media feed on the homepage connects visitors with Seymours’ latest updates and community activities, providing a constant stream of new content that supports SEO and keeps users engaged. This, combined with strong calls to action throughout the site, encourages visitors to stay connected and take action.
Trust-building elements
By integrating trust-building elements, such as review pages and a candid team photo section, we’ve helped humanise the brand and build rapport with prospective clients. The recruitment and careers section showcases Seymours as a top employer, allowing new recruits to apply directly on the site.
